Text Slots — Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using Text Slots (“the App”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.


1. What the App is (offline, single-player)

Text Slots is an offline, single-player leisure application for iPhone. It uses text symbols to present a slot-style reel and payout-style experience, including layouts such as 3×3 and 5×3, machine themes, virtual credits, and local progress features (achievements, daily goals, check-in style rewards, etc.).

You must comply with the laws of your jurisdiction. If you are a minor, use the App only with permission and supervision of a parent or guardian.

The App may show break or wellness reminders; these are not medical advice.

The App, its name, visuals, text, and code (except third-party components) are protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App as permitted by the store and these Terms. You may not reverse engineer, misuse, or redistribute the App except as allowed by applicable law.


6. Disclaimer of warranties; limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App, except where liability cannot be excluded by mandatory law.

We are not responsible for issues caused by: OS or device changes; third-party services; force majeure; or your own actions (including uninstalling the App, jailbreaking, or device failure).


7. Support and contact

For crashes, install issues, or bugs, contact us through the channel listed on the App Store product page, developer website, or in-app About / Support (email or URL—to be filled in before publication).

When reporting issues, include device model, iOS version, app version (and build), and steps to reproduce, plus screenshots or screen recordings if helpful.


8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. The App emphasizes offline, on-device storage for gameplay data in the current version.


9. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms. The “Last updated” line or release notes will reflect material changes where practical. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms (unless applicable law requires a different process).


10. Governing law (placeholder)

To be confirmed by the publisher: specify country/region and courts if you need a binding choice of law clause. Until then, mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence may still apply.


Support FAQ (informal)

Will I lose my data?

Progress is stored on your device. Uninstalling, erasing the device, or hardware failure can make it unrecoverable. There is no cloud backup in the current version.

No sound?

Check the mute switch, volume, and the App’s sound toggle. Some sounds use system effects.

No haptics?

Enable haptics in the App and in Settings › Sounds & Haptics. Low battery or device settings may reduce feedback.

Landscape

The UI is designed for landscape. If rotation is wrong, check Portrait Orientation Lock.
