Text Slots — Privacy Policy
Welcome to Text Slots. This policy describes how we handle information related to privacy when you use the app. We describe what the app actually does; we do not claim features that do not exist.
1. Nature of the app and scope of data
Text Slots is an offline, single-player leisure app that presents a slot-style experience using text symbols. It uses virtual credits for entertainment only. It does not involve real-money gambling, cash-out, redemption of cash, or physical prizes.
In the current version, your game-related data is stored primarily on your device to keep the experience working (for example: virtual balance, spin-related progress, achievements and daily tasks, display nickname, sound and haptics preferences). The app does not include account registration, sign-in to our servers, or cloud sync of your save data to our backend (subject to the build you install).
Core gameplay is designed to run locally on your device without requiring an always-on internet connection for the game itself.
2. Types of information the app may process
2.1 Data you provide or that the app generates locally
The following may be stored on your device using iOS local storage (such as UserDefaults) for the app to function, for example:
- Display nickname: a nickname you enter in Settings (if empty, a default label may be shown)—on-device display only;
- Game and progress data: virtual balance, bet and layout choices, machine theme preference, XP/level-related values, achievement and claim state, check-in and daily-task state, and records needed for date-based logic when you open the app;
- Preferences: e.g. sound effects and haptics toggles;
- Onboarding state: e.g. whether first-launch onboarding has been completed, if applicable.
By default, this data is not automatically uploaded to servers we operate, because the current product does not include networking code to upload saves (if that changes in a future version, we will update this policy and notify you in a clear way).
2.2 Device capabilities and system services
To provide basic functionality, the app may use device or system capabilities, for example:
- Audio: system sounds and/or bundled local audio for feedback (exact assets depend on the build); when playing some local audio, the app may configure the audio session in a standard way—not to record your voice;
- Haptics: vibration feedback on supported devices when you interact—this does not read your contacts, photos, or location.
The current version does not request or use the following types of permissions (if the system or a future version changes, follow the system permission prompts and in-app behavior):
- Precise/coarse location, contacts, photo library, camera, microphone, Bluetooth, Health data, Calendar contents (the app may use system date/time locally but does not read your calendar events), cross-app tracking, and similar.
3. Third parties and analytics
The current build does not integrate common third-party advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or social login SDKs. Therefore, the app does not send your usage data to those third parties through such SDKs (if we add any later, we will update this policy and obtain consent where required).
4. Children
The app is for casual entertainment. If you are a minor, please use it under parental guidance. We do not require real name, government ID, or similar sensitive identity data to use the app.
5. Retention and deletion
- Retention: local data remains on your device until you uninstall the app, clear app data, or delete it through means allowed by the system.
- Deletion: uninstalling the app typically removes sandboxed app data (per iOS rules). We cannot remotely “one-click delete account data” for you, because there is no online account system in the current version.
6. Cross-border transfers
In the current version, we do not use the app to bulk-transfer your data to servers outside your device in the manner of a synced online service. If a future version adds networking and cross-border processing, we will explain the legal basis and mechanisms in an updated policy.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy for product, legal, or operational reasons. After an update, you can read the latest version via links in the app, the product page, or release notes. Continued use means you acknowledge the key points of the updated policy; if you disagree, stop using the app and uninstall it.
8. Contact us
If you have questions about this policy or believe your rights are affected, please contact us using the channels described on the Terms of Use page. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Disclaimer: This policy is meant to explain product behavior and privacy boundaries; it is not legal advice. Some wording is standard industry language; if it conflicts with mandatory law, the law prevails.
